5 Tips for Safer Cell Phone Use During the Covid-19 Pandemic

Covid-19 has made us all depend more on wireless technology. Whether you’re working remotely, attending school online or just staying in touch with family and friends, you’re more reliant than ever on Wi-Fi and cell service.

Although these technologies can empower us to keep working, learning and socializing while safely at home, they also come with their own risks.

Cell phone and Wi-Fi routers rely on non-ionizing electromagnetic fields in the radiofrequency range, or RF-EMF, to transmit signals wirelessly. This type of radiation has been linked to brain cancer, emotional and hyperactivity disorders in kids, and to migraines. The World Health organization categorizes radiofrequency radiation as possibly carcinogenic to humans. But more research still needs to be done.

Here are steps you can take to reduce your exposure to RF-EMF radiation while staying connected.

  1. Use a headset or speaker phone so you don’t need to hold the phone against your head when speaking.

  2. Keep your phone, tablet and other wireless devices away from your body, even when they’re not in use. Don’t keep your phone in your pocket, tucked into clothes or on your lap.

  3. Keep devices in airplane mode when you can. Asks your kids to keep their devices in airplane mode when they’re playing games or in class.

  4. Make sure you have strong service. Fewer bars equals more radiation, since the phone has to work harder to broadcast its signal. Try using Wi-Fi to connect instead if your cell signal is weak.

  5. Create a separate space for your Wi-Fi router. Don’t keep it in your bedroom or right next to the office desk.

I hope in these tough, bizarre and strange restricted times we all are forced to live in that this poem will help you feel good and find your inner true self.

This morning after my qigong meditation I wrote this poem down to express a voice to those who feel theirs is lost when things go wrong, not listened to and feeling all in distressed etc: Life can come along and either tire you or inspire you! I hope this will inspire you.

Find your voice and sing your song.

Yet this doesn't always mean your problems are gone.

Don't feel blocked

and don't be shocked

When barking up the wrong tree

Just let it be.

Go within and find your feet

then from there enjoy imagining all the good you will meet.

When ones heart goes out and finds itself in a drought

It goes within and becomes full of doubt.

This tension of it all makes our heart become too hot going to places that it should not.

Our ego misdirects our heart, creating an false illusion that our aims are tied in a knot.

So don't despair and never resist,

just keep going and always persist.

Keep on track when nothing comes back

and don't panic for your life hasn't been given the sack.

Focus on your love and passion for don't worry its not gone out of fashion

What are the Functions of Large Intestine Meridian?
The Large Intestine is the Yang organ paired with the Yin Lungs in the Metal Element. According to the Huangdi Neijing medical text written in 2,700 BCE, its function is to “Transport all turbidity. All waste products go through it”. The Large Intestine is closely associated with the lungs and skin, which are other important detox organs. It absorbs liquid and releases anything that is no longer needed in the way of food, toxins, emotions, thereby cleansing the body, mind, and spirit.

The Source Point of the LI meridian is LI-4, Hegu, in the web of the hand between index finger and thumb. Massaging this point helps to relieve pain, clear stagnation, and vitalize Qi flow in all meridians. It’s also good for sore throat, blocked nose, abdominal pain, constipation, and more.

Large Intestine Psycho-Spiritual Issues:
The Large Intestine’s close relationship to the Lungs makes it equally affected by emotions of sadness, grief, and worry.
